How to Add Google Adsense Codes Below Header and Inside Post in Genesis

Adding Google Adsense Codes in Genesis and WordPress in general is not as easy as it is in Blogger, where all you have to do is add the code by just activating/customizing a gadget. To Add Google Adsense Code Below Header and Inside Post in Genesis, you need two different plugins; Genesis Simple Hooks and WP-Insert plugins.

Adding Google Adsense Code Below Header

Firstly, Log in to your WP-Admin dashboard and click on Plugins >> Add New, a new window would open then use the search box to search for a plugin named Genesis Simple Hooks, install and activate it right away and get ready for step two.

The next thing to do is visit your Adsense Dashboard and generate the code you want to use below the header.

Go back to your WP-Dashboard, click on the Genesis Menu >> Simple Hooks, a new window would open then scroll down to Header Hooks and place your generated code inside the “genesis_after_header Hook” section and click on Save Changes. Find the sample screen shot below;

After saving the work, open your WordPress home page or any page within your site and you will see your Google Adsense Ads appear Below the Header. The Ad might align to the left or right side of the page, if you want it be in the center, add the <center></center> tags above and below the code.

Adding Google Adsense Codes Below Post Title and Inside Post in Genesis

On your WP-Admin dashboard and click on Plugins >> Add New, a new window would open then use the search box to search for a plugin named “Wp Insert”, install and activate it instantly.

Find the Wp Insert menu on your WP Dashboard and click on Manage In-Post Ads. Insert your generated code to the section you want the Ads to appear and activate the section, then click on Save Changes (Located at the top-right side of the interface).

After saving the work, open your WordPress home page or any page within your site and you will see your Google Adsense Ads appear in the locations you wanted them to be.
